Indian Army Advances AI Integration with 'Seeker 2.0' and 'Bahirji' Projects

The Indian Army has embraced artificial intelligence (AI) in two projects. The first, 'Seeker 2.0', utilises AI-based biometric identification and analysis to identify suspicious individuals within crowds. This system enhances security for critical military and civilian installations, as well as at border crossings. 'Seeker 2.0' operates offline through an AI-powered deep-learning algorithm, demonstrating versatility in various environmental conditions. The Army confirms that the system has undergone testing and is now in operational deployment.

The second project, 'Bahirji,' focuses on AI-driven information collation and analysis. Designed to provide deeper situational insights by leveraging data, this innovation facilitates data-driven decision-making for ground-level commanders. 'Bahirji' seamlessly integrates with the
