The Indian Army has exemplified their motto of 'service before self' by ensuring the successful conclusion of the G20 summit in Kashmir, despite facing numerous challenges. With unwavering dedication, they are now fully prepared to protect the sacred Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage in Kashmir.
In a display of their unwavering commitment to the motto ‘service before self’, the formidable Indian Army has successfully ensured the smooth execution of the G20 summit in Kashmir, despite numerous threats. Now, the Indian Army is fully prepared to safeguard the holy Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage in Kashmir.
Assuring the public about the situation in Kashmir, Lieutenant General Amardeep Singh Aujla, a commanding officer in the Indian Army, stated that it is ‘pretty good’. He emphasised that there have been no infiltrations this year and highlighted the effectiveness of their counter-infiltration grid. Aujla, the Chinar Corps Commander, expressed confidence in their capabilities, particularly in countering radicalisation.
While acknowledging the increased efforts of radicalisation, he noted that its impact has decreased. Aujla attributed this positive shift to the awareness among people, especially the youth, about distinguishing between right and wrong. He urged the youth to make informed decisions and differentiate between the two.
Additionally, Aujla assured that the Indian Army remains strong, prepared, and capable of dealing with any unforeseen cross-border threats. However, he also raised concerns about the growing issue of 'Narco-Terrorism' or drug-based terrorism.
