An Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft effectively transported an individual with severe head injuries from Atting village located in the Zanskar area of southern Ladakh.
An individual with severe head injuries was airlifted in an Indian Air Force aircraft from a village in the Zanskar region of southern Ladakh to Leh. The evacuation became necessary due to persistent snowfall, which had severed ground access.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) shared images of the Cheetah helicopter involved in the airlifting operation.
The post said, ‘An IAF aircraft successfully evacuated a patient with critical head injuries from Attting village in the Zanskar region of south Ladakh, following continuous snowfall, which had cut off all ground access to the region #HarKaamDeshkeNaam.’
