Indian Air Force's Sarang Team Wows at Singapore Airshow

The Sarang Helicopter Display Team from the Indian Air Force (IAF) captivated the audience at the Singapore Airshow, where they showcased the Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv) manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a subsidiary of the IAF. The event took place on February 24, marking the team's 20th anniversary as ambassadors of the Indian Air Force. Celebrating their achievements and milestones, the Sarang team expressed gratitude on X, stating, "Happy raising day to our incredible display team!"

During the airshow, the Sarang team presented a mesmerizing four-helicopter display, emphasizing the ALH Dhruv's impressive agility and the skill of IAF pilots. In a prior press release, the Ministry of Defence highlighted the success story of self-reliance in the defence sector, commending the operational utilization of the indigenously manufactured ALH and its advanced variants by all branches of the Indian military.

The Singapore Airshow featured display teams from various countries, including India, Indonesia, South Korea, and Australia. Additionally, leading aircraft and system manufacturers and operators participated, showcasing their products. Notably, the HAL-manufactured ALH Dhruv, operated by the Sarang team, made its debut appearance at the show.
