Based on the Battle of Saragarhi, this series recounts the story of just 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment who stood their ground against more than 10,000 Pashtuns. Regiment Diaries is a documentary-style series that dives into the history, traditions, and battlefield legacy of some of the Indian Army’s most celebrated regiments. After being severely injured during the Kargil War, Major Deep Singh loses the ability to walk — a life-changing blow for any soldier. Will he lose his mental strength along with his physical ability, or will he find a way to stand tall again? The series balances emotional depth with the discipline and mindset of military life, making the journey as inspiring as it is heartfelt.

Premiering on SonyLIV in 2020, Avrodh: The Siege Within is a fictionalised retelling of real-life military operations, including the 2016 Uri surgical strike. The series draws inspiration from chapters of the book India’s Most Fearless (and its sequel), which document true stories of bravery from India’s armed forces. The storytelling stays tense and mission-focused, while keeping you hooked on how modern military operations are planned and executed.

This Disney+ Hotstar original series brings together elite officers from the three armed forces into a single joint task force called “The Hawks.” When India comes under threat, this unit is deployed for high-risk missions that demand precision, coordination, and nerves of steel. In the show, there’s adrenaline from combat scenes, aerial operations, and intense military training sequences, but also emotional depth and the mental strength it takes to serve.
