Brigadier CK Sood is the father of Major Anuj Sood, Shaurya Chakra, who laid down his life in a terrorist encounter in Handwara on May 2, 2020. Major Anuj Sood was a brave Army officer who performed his duty selflessly and saved the lives of civilians held hostage by terrorists in the valley.
